What must the King have seen during his visit to our city? More than 300 ideas submitted followed. All involved residents, business owners and community organizations who wanted to contribute to King’s Day in some way. We thank everyone for their enthusiastic submissions. We are happy to report that for about 100 ideas we see an opportunity to incorporate it into the program.
We are still busy putting the schedule together. The main outlines are becoming clearer, which allows us to better assess which ideas can be adopted. In the coming period, it will become clear which of the selected ideas can be included in the program as they are and which ideas will be partially incorporated. It might also happen that we create a variation of the idea together with the submitter. The content of the program remains a surprise for now, so we cannot make any statements about it.
In addition to the nearly 100 potential ideas, we have also informed more than 40 submitters that we are keeping their ideas in reserve. As mentioned, we are still working on the program, and new ideas may emerge. Therefore, we asked these submitters to keep an eye on their email in case we see room for their idea in the program.
We thank everyone who shared their ideas once again for their involvement. Your efforts will contribute to an unforgettable King’s Day in Doetinchem!
