Below is an overview of the program in downtown Doetinchem, Wehl and Gaanderen. In the center of Doetinchem are several stages. You can see exactly where they are on the map.

Downtown stores may open their doors on King’s Day, April 26. For the specific opening hours of your favorite
store check the store’s website/socials.

The Royal Walk starts at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast live by NOS on NPO1 on Saturday, April 26. View the full program of the Royal Walk.

Including performances by Normaal on the Welcome Avenue and Suzan and Freek on the King’s stage, accompanied by the 60-piece orchestra of Phion, the orchestra of Gelderland and Overijssel.

At 4 diverse downtown locations. Before the King’s visit, mop bands also play music at various locations around the city to welcome our visitors.

Additional information

Browse the vinyl singles and pick out a record from the 70-80-90s. The plaza is open to everyone, of course, but is particularly suitable for people with disabilities. The music is not too loud, there is no light show and no other “fuss.

The Wehl Foundation and Party King Wehl have put together a festive program. Check Stiching Wehl for the current program.
